Our friends at WRS Inc. have teamed up with the Fulton County Public Art Program Team for the Fine Art Acquisition Program 2019 Exhibition, which will be held at Underground Atlanta. The exhibition is a month-long celebration of local art, showcasing 114 pieces of original art created by 81 Georgia-based artists. The gallery will showcase a wide range of mediums, from 2-D works of drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, fiber, sculpture + photography. You won’t want to miss your chance to see it all together, because following the Underground Atlanta pop-up, the artwork will be installed in 14 libraries currently under renovation throughout Fulton County.
Kick off the celebration supporting local artists on Thursday, January 10 from 5:30-8:30pm at the opening reception. The gallery is open to the public Thursdays and Fridays January 11-25 from 12-5pm, by Eventbrite appointment only. A closing ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 26 from 5:30-8:30pm.
