2019 was a big year for Moffett Restaurant Group, owned by chef Bruce Moffett. Located in Charlotte, the iconic group opened up two new restaurants last year– NC Red + Bao and Broth. Fast forward just a few months and they’ve both made the list of The 25 best new restaurants in Charlotte, right now, posted by the Charlotte Agenda.
Bao and Broth, led by Larry Schreiber, former chef at Good Food on Montford, is conveniently located in Optimist Hall + serves delicious ramen and buns. NC Red is set in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood + blends Northern shore-food with Southern staples. The Charlotte Agenda listed some must-try items that included the Spicy Pork Ramen at Bao and Broth + the Nashville hot chicken at NC Red.
