The 2023 Southeast Designers and Architect of the Year Awards (SEDY) have celebrated some of the most talented individuals and firms across the Southeast. The awards, presented by ADAC and VERANDA, recognized excellence in architecture, contract design, and residential design. Winners were selected from a group of 26 regional finalists and were announced at a private gala on Thursday, April 20, marking the end of ADAC’s spring market, DESIGN ADAC. The 2023 Southeast Designers and Architect of the Year winners include the following:

Residential Design | Bronwyn Ford of Pursley Dixon Ford Interior Design
Judges for the awards included Steele Marcoux, Editor-In-Chief of Veranda, John Ike, Architect and Founder of Ike Baker Velten, and Jean Liu, Interior Designer and Woodard CEO. The judges described the winners’ work as “exciting, original, and beautifully livable,” “a mastery of mood making,” and “teeming with elegance and sophistication.” It is no surprise that these firms consistently exceed expectations and raise the bar for future designers.
