This spring, historic Auburn Avenue in Atlanta is about to witness a delicious revival with the grand opening of Auburn Angel.

Spearheaded by Atlanta natives Asa Fain and Executive Chef Robbie Pacheco, Auburn Angel takes over the building that once was home to the former Auburn Avenue Rib Shack. The restaurant’s extensive restoration journey reflects a commitment to preserving the community’s heritage. Despite challenges posed by the pandemic, the team behind Auburn Angel persevered, securing additional investment, restoring the space and expanding it to accommodate 120 guests.

Anticipated to be a culinary destination in the heart of Atlanta, the restaurant will feature an ever-evolving menu from Executive Chef Robbie Pacheco of cutting-edge small plates and mains inspired by diverse flavors from around the world. Pamela Moxley, formerly of Miller Union and Floataway Cafe, will also accompany Chef Robbie in the kitchen serving as the Pastry Chef of Auburn Angel.

With a soft launch on April 3 and a grand opening on April 19, Auburn Angel invites patrons to experience an unforgettable dining experience at 302 Auburn Ave NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30303. Valet parking is available and rideshare is encouraged. For full details, please read the official press release here.
