The AJC recently featured cocktails from Atlas and Varuni Napoli in a roundup article on where to find the best peach cocktails in metro Atlanta.
Atlas’ featured drink is called “The Caribbean Soul,” and according to the AJC, it “helps extend both peach and vacation season.” The drink itself is made from Balvenie Caribbean Cask whisky, a syrup made from fresh white peaches, vanilla, and a garnish of an edible rice paper Bahamian flag.
Varuni Napoli’s featured drink combines a classic Italian cocktail with southern flavors reminiscent of the city of Atlanta itself. Named the Bourbon Tea spritz, this cocktail features bourbon, peach tea, freshly squeezed lemon juice, a peach-infused syrup, and San-Benedetto Italian sparkling water.
