Neapolitan Chef Luca Varuni will compete in the ultimate pizza showdown on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Monday, Feb. 13. America’s most-watched morning show is popping up in select cities across America (Atlanta, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York to find the best pizza in the country.
Round 1 of “United States of Pizza” will occur in Atlanta where a panel of judges (Acclaimed chef, cookbook author and TV host G. Garvin; Lead Singer of Fitz and the Tantrums, Fitz; WNBA Atlanta Dream Head Coach Tanisha Wright) will taste-test the pizza on-site and provide their live votes for the Atlanta title. The winners from each city will advance to the final round in New York City on Friday, Feb. 17 where the pizzaiolos will compete live to win Good Morning America’s “United States of Pizza” and a cash prize of $10,000.
