Atlanta’s newest dog destination, Skiptown, is officially rolling out the welcome mat for pups and their people with ‘Discover Skiptown!’ From March 17-23, a week-long grand opening celebration will be unleashed now that all spaces—pet care services, dog park, bar, and food offerings—are fully OPEN! This 39,200-square-foot doggie dreamland is more than just a pet-friendly spot—it’s a thoughtfully designed 21+ space featuring an indoor/outdoor dog park, top-tier pet care services, and a social club with craft cocktails and delicious bites for humans.
Best of all, entry is free all week—the perfect excuse to explore everything Skiptown has to offer. The schedule is packed with exciting events designed to delight both pups and their people:
- St. Pawtrick’s Day (March 17): Celebrate with a festive green cocktail, specialty dog treats, and even get your pup’s tail dyed green for the occasion.
- Pup Parent Mixer (March 18): From 6-8 p.m., connect with fellow dog lovers while your pup makes new friends in the play yard.
- Adoption Day (March 19): Skiptown partners with the Atlanta Humane Society for a special adoption event, with a portion of frozen drink sales supporting rescue efforts.
- March Madness Kickoff (March 20): Cheer on your favorite team at a dog-friendly watch party, complete with basketball-themed treats.
- First Responders Appreciation (March 21): A special event honoring active military, veterans, and first responders with free memberships and patriotic pup bandanas.
- Pup-Tastic Weekend Celebration (March 22-23): A two-day extravaganza featuring a caricature artist, pop-up shops with local pet vendors, raffles, giveaways, drink specials and more.
