Studies show that Georgia Music Partners are creating a lasting legacy in the Georgia music industry. The Joint Georgia Music Heritage Study Committee released its final report at the end of 2022. The report found that the Georgia music industry is thriving and supports over 70,000 jobs state-wide. Our very own founder, Tara Murphy, is a GMP board member and has played an integral role in the support of musical artists in Georgia.

After the study was concluded, the committee made several recommendations that would lead to the investment and support of the music industry. The recommendations include more competitive tax incentives, a Georgia Music Office within the Office of the Governor, and grant opportunities for local musicians and other industry professionals.
