On Thursday, September 11, Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead will once again open its doors to the community for the third annual HILLS4ATL Stair Climb, a powerful tribute to the firefighters who gave their lives on 9/11. From 6 to 9 p.m., participants will climb the hotel’s stairwell 10 times, symbolizing the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, in a moving display of remembrance and unity.
The event is held in partnership with Hills4ATL in support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s Fire Hero Fund, with proceeds benefiting the families and legacy of fallen heroes. After the climb, guests are invited to gather at the hotel to enjoy food and drinks, with $1 from every beverage purchased donated directly to the nonprofit.
With a $5 donation for entry, this event offers Atlantans a meaningful way to come together, reflect, and support a worthy cause.
