The most haunted attraction of all opens for the season on Sept. 22 and Sept. 23, and guests should brace themselves for an unforgettable Halloween season! As writer Kwame Ofosu puts it in his latest blog post Askwame, “For close to three decades, NETHERWORLD has been synonymous with the pinnacle of Halloween frights, captivating even the most seasoned horror aficionados with its meticulously designed sets, cutting-edge special effects, and nightmarishly realistic creatures.”
This year, NETHERWORLD is introducing two new chilling haunts: PRIMORDIAL and CRYPTID CHAOS. PRIMORDIAL continues The Undying Horror saga that NETHERWORLD fans encountered last year. Elemental beings powered by the NETHERWORLD gateway’s energy cross into our realm – water, wind, Earth, and fire entities – with a mission to destroy the Netherspawn that arrived before them. In CRYPTID CHAOS, the malevolent Boogeyman reemerges to craft a realm of nightmarish horrors. He drains dark energy from Cryptid Creatures within the secret BOX facility. Yet, these creatures retaliate, transforming BOX staff into murderous urban legends.
