Atlanta food lovers will have to wait just one more week to experience one of the city’s most anticipated cultural celebrations. Due to forecasts calling for possible severe weather and thunderstorms, the Atlanta Summer Halal Food Festival has activated its pre-planned rain dates and will now take place Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, at Historic Old Fourth Ward Skatepark along the Eastside BeltLine.

Previously purchased tickets for the original July 11–12 dates will automatically be honored on the corresponding rescheduled dates, and no action is required from current ticket holders. Tickets remain available online and at the gate throughout the weekend.

The festival’s organizers built weather contingency dates into the event from the beginning, allowing the celebration to shift seamlessly while preserving the experience for guests, vendors, and community partners. Attendees can still look forward to more than 70 food, beverage, artisan, retail, and community vendors, along with live music, family-friendly activities, FIFA match screenings (when matches are taking place), and the popular festival passport experience. The Atlanta Summer Halal Food Festival is presented by the Atlanta Muslim Festival Collective and celebrates the diversity of halal cuisine while bringing together communities from across the Southeast for a weekend of food, culture, and connection.
