Everyone has their own holiday tradition, whether it’s making Christmas cookies for Santa the night before he visits or caroling around the neighborhood with family + friends. Midtown’s The Lawrence is no different. Returning for the fourth year on Wednesday, December 18 at 10:30pm is Swigs & Wigs! This post-dinner, holiday cabaret will feature local drag queens (NEON Burgundy, Brigette Bidet + Edna Allan Hoe) strutting their stuff + bringing down the house just in time to get you into full holiday spirit.
The Lawrence, part of the Big Citizen family (includes Atlanta staples like Bon Ton, Atlanta’s pop-up Miracle Bars, and soon-to-open Wonderkid) is known for their contemporary American menu + craft cocktails. Recently named one of Atlanta’s essential cocktail bars by Eater, The Lawrence will be serving up their famous Hickory Hollows for $5 during Swigs & Wigs. A body-warming blend of Smoked Tennessee Whiskey, Brown Sugar + Irish Coffee Riff, you won’t want to miss out on this special of the night.
