The Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel celebrated its opening last week on May 3 with a digital ribbon cutting and a gift-led tour throughout the hotel. During the outdoor reception, guests choose a schwag bag design that was printed onsite and then heard remarks from College Park Mayor, Jack P. Longino and Dual General Manager Donelle Zunker. Following the remarks and the digital ribbon cutting, guests were invited inside for refreshments from Hickory & Hazel and to follow their maps on a self-guided tour around the hotel to collect various gifts for their next adventure.
The new hotel boasts 204 imaginatively styled guest rooms and 6,500 square feet of innovative meeting and event space including a 3,345-square-foot ballroom boasting rare natural light. The restaurant, Hickory & Hazel Southern Table and Bar, will feature weekly social events and interactive experiences plus Southern cuisine with a twist.
