We rang in the New Year with the Georgia Music Investment Act going into effect + we couldn’t be more excited that Georgia Music Partners will continue to promote this industry-changing act. Reported by Billboard, Atlanta is expected to see an increase of music industry jobs this year thanks to the Music Investment Act and incentives like a 15% refundable tax credit for musical recordings, touring + rehearsing gigs. With several Atlanta artists on the top charts, Georgia’s Music Investment Act could result in even more hits from local recording studios. Will the Grammys make its way to Atlanta?
