Have you heard about the food-related developments bringing buzz to the Southern banking capitol? Food & Wine Magazine reports the revitalization trend as having been very successful in other cities like Atlanta, stating that Charlotte’s forthcoming Design District and Tompkins Hall will follow suit and function as lively bookends to the Uptown section of the city. Both are well-connected and will essentially create new neighborhoods. In the case of Tompkins Hall, roughly 50,000 square feet of restaurant space and retail will include a 22,000 square-foot food hall while the centerpiece of the development will be a century-old textile mill. We’re proud to call Tompkins Hall a client, it’s a project that’s going to be something to see, that we can say for sure. For more details on what Food & Wine had to say, click here.
