• Aziza’s twist on cocktails: Aziza’s cocktail, Harissa Knows it All, takes harissa, typically used in North African cuisine, and combines it with mezcal for an exotic concoction.
  • The Southeast possibly getting high-speed bullet trains: If this plan is successful, you could travel from Atlanta to Charlotte in a little over 2 hours.
  • All the offerings at our neighbor, The Beacon: In the mood for a cocktail? A coffee? Maybe some sushi? Why not all the above. The Beacon has a great selection of tenants making it a perfect one-stop shop for a night out. Try dinner at Hotto Hotto Ramen & Teppanyaki, drinks at Cardinal and if you need a pick-me-up, coffee at Buteco after.
  • New breweries popping up around town: As if we didn’t already have enough brewery options in Atlanta, more are opening this year or have already including Best End Brewing on the West End, Bold Monk Brewing Co on the Westside, and Round Trip Brewing in Underwood Hills.
  • All the fall and winter festivals coming up to put us in a festive mood: Between Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival, Wrecking Bar Strong Beer Festival, Indie Craft Experience’s Holiday Shopping Spectacular, you are sure to find an excuse to spend some time outdoors as the temperatures drop.
  • This weather change: Fall is finally starting to feel like fall here in Atlanta (please don’t call it Hotlanta) so bust out those boots, cardigans and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
  • Which brings us to our final point…Roomkey Travel’s new campaign: Roomkey is out to make sure people call our city by its proper name by posting PSAs to travelers at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Just remember, no one calls its Hotlanta.
