Curious about progress of the transformation of Underground Atlanta? According to Atlanta Business Chronicle, development group WRS Inc. is a bit ahead of schedule, and they fully anticipate keeping it that way. With a goal to have multiple tenants open and operating within a year, the mixed-use development has announced a great deal of progress – including new partnerships for multi-family and student housing planned on the site,  long-term lease with The Masquerade, renovation updates for the historical section of Underground, replacing the mega-grocery store concept with more accommodating options + a new lease with an innovative pay-per-use, pop-up co-working space, Post-Office (opening in the next week)! “We really are trying to create a unique environment,” said Steve Howe, chief operating officer for WRS.

While plans are still in the works, we think it’s safe to say that the heart of ATL is set to have a new pulse. To read more about the long-term project, check out the press release.
